Miss Love (the advice lady) and I know dating and relationships can stress people out.  We don't want you to feel alone if you have a problem.

If you want support through a confusing time you can write to us for free. We will feature your letters and a response of advice.  By having your letters posted, other viewers can also comment on your situation.

Miss Love and other blog team members are not certified psychologists.  We are compassionate adults who care about the world.

Please be aware that the advice provided is not intended to be a substitute for professional counseling. If a problem is too difficult to deal with, we recommend that you seek the help of a professional counselor, psychologist or psychiatrist with any questions or concerns.

For dating or relationship advice, write to datingandrelating@gmail.com.  Type “Advice” in the subject header.

In your letter please answer the following questions:
    • What is the problem or difficulty?
    • How long has the difficulty been going on?
    • What is your gender and the gender of the other persons in the situation?
    • Who is involved (my boyfriend/girlfriend, sister-in-law, etc.)?
    • What is every one's age or approximate age (an exact number or you can say I'm in my twenties, thirties, forties, etc.)?
If possible, keep the letter between 250 to 1000 words.

Microsoft Word has a word counter.  Click on “Tools” at the top of the screen. Then click on “Word Count.”

Or you can go to Word Count Tool.  Copy and paste your text to get the word count.

We will publish your story with pseudo names.  If you wish to suggest different names to protect every one's privacy, feel free to do so and let us know that the names you have chosen are substitute names.  If you do not suggest substitute names, we will create names for everyone involved.
